I am planning to have a GPOC outing at Mountain Creek Gold mine the 2nd or 3rd weekend in August.
We are planning a group dig and since this is a pay to play location I have decided to invite members of this forum to get in on the fun.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE GPOC TO ATTEND!!
More details will follow. You can respond here or pm me if interested. Wes

I received a pm from Victory saying his son wanted to bring a friend with him to the outing.
His question was would he have to pay another 75.00 if the friend was not going to participate in the gold split drawing?
The answer is no he would not!
The only people that will be allowed to draw for the split are the paid participants or there representative. Wes

I worked for 4 hours + with a highbanker and got nothing... but to do GPAA club work. I was not in the dig as paying member. However, I got good status within the club for working to show I am in good standing and I am now "first in" in new locations as a result. Food for thought! Cool

James ask me if you can only come to the outing for 1 day do you still have to pay 75.00.
The answer is yes.The 75.00 fee is to cover the cost of the outing. However if you pay the fee and can only be there 1 day your name will be on the list for the gold split and someone will draw for you.Your split will be mailed to you. Wes

Dwight is going on a shopping trip and will be buying items we will be giving away as door prizes to all the participants and we may have a few items that we will raffle off.
I would appreciate it if everyone would post the number of people they are bringing so I can have an idea of how much food we will need. Wes

Speaking of food and side dishes or appetizers. I thought about making some crab cakes, but the only crab meat I've got I promised to Wes and James a while back.

Oh, what the hell. I'm sure they won't mind Rolling Eyes

Wish I could, but it isn't possible. Was down at TC over Easter and found a little. It's a 16 hour drive one way for me and I'm already committed to work the Gold Show the next weekend. Russ and I will probably be working the PLP booth with Walt, if Russ feels up to making the trip.
Still hope the weather is great for your outing and you hit it big at MC. I met Bill about 4 years ago and he's a great guy. Met Jim at TC that same year. Have lots of fun and Don't take it all.
