The GPOC is having a raffle to raise money to be donated to needy families or persons.
We have a brand new 2'' Harbor Freight water pump.
A slightly used Angus McKirk Predator 3 clean up sluice with the hopper.
A new 4'' Keene foot valve.

Ticket prices are $10.00
I will sell 20 tickets for the pump.
10 tickets for the sluice. Have 5 remaining.
10 tickets for the foot valve. I know there are not a lot of people that can use a foot valve this size so if someone needs it I will sell it for $75.00.

All the money we raise will be donated!

Wes

I have decided to donate the money we raise from this raffle to one of our own that is battling cancer.
This persons name will not be revealed unless he chooses to do so.
I hope you all will participate in this raffle.
I know times are tough but this is for a good cause.
I will match whatever is raised by this raffle.
If any of you have items you would be willing to donate it would be greatly appreciated.

Wes

This is a humble start for a great cause,
Put me down for $20 on the sluice.
Post or PM me a mailing address.

Think of what a difference we all could make in a brothers life if we all kicked in a few bucks.

Thank you Wes.

I have received several more donations and some of the want to remain anonymous.
I am a bit under the weather right now but will update this post in the next couple of days.
To all that have donated, Thank You.
To those that cannot afford to donate a prayer will go a long way!

Jam it is just the foot valve, it does not have the y piece where you prime it.
Just to be clear this foot valve uses a 4'' hose!
If you can use it make me an offer.

Jam I figure it has to be worth 50.00, that's less than half price and it is brand new!

We have raised 220.00 so far for our Christmas Charity!
I still have 3 tickets left for the Pred 3 and have sold no tickets for the BRAND NEW 2" PUMP.

I have sold the water pump outright as it appeared there was not a lot of interest in it!

When my knee gets a little better I will dig around and see what else I have I'm not using and can get rid of.

Anybody need a woman? Laughing

I am going to sell the cons straight out of the trommel.
I am not going to take anything out or add anything too them.
The trommel classifies to 1/2 in and we now have an 8' sluice on it.
If I figure all the expense it cost about 100.00 per day to run it, that includes the dirt.
Some days we recover a couple of grams, some days less, just depends on the material.
I will classify cons to 1/4 then wash to remove as much clay as I can and then dry them.
I need to do a little more research to determine what to sell them for.

I modified the post above, I meant to type 1/4 instead of 1/8!!!
I checked around and have decided to sell the cons for 35.00 per 2 lb bag.
The cost includes shipping.
Unlike Gold Pig I will not require you to watch a video before you purchase these cons and I will assure there will be no gems in them. Laughing

But the Gold Pig's bags have "natural, local" gems from Georgia. Ha ha! I guess South America has relocated to Georgia. Laughing Laughing
