My name is Steve Peterson and I go by Oldsckool here on the forum. This might be long winded, but bare with me. February of this year during a normal physical it was discovered that I had Stage 3 Rectal Cancer. In March I had a resection to remove the cancer and immediately had to take chemo and radiation for 30 days straight. Then I ended up with complications and had to go back in the hospital for another 10 days. Once I finished with the chemo and radiation I then had to do another round of chemo which I just finished on November 3rd. As of Tuesday December 2nd I am CANCER FREE! This has been very challenging not only for me but my entire family. It was financially, physically, and emotionally a huge burden and I want to say thank you for the donation and well wishes.

Just so it is clear Steve was the recipient of the GPOC fund raiser!
We raised a total of 450.00 from the raffle, sales, and donations!
I will be sending Steve a check for 900.00.
Thanks again to all of you!

Wes

Steve, I'm very glad to hear that you're free of this dreaded disease and I hope and pray that it stays that way.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers for your continued freedom of the cancer.

Glad to hear that your cancer free.

If I could offer you some advice, I would say to always remain positive and never give up.
