Well I thought I would share the changes I made to my chameleon . I notice that the water was not makeing it to the crash box like it should so I added 4 inches to the pipe in the crash box and that helped some but the water was still really chopey so I decided to put a dampner on it. I had some deep vee laying around so I used that. Here is a quick video of it running you can see how smooth it runs now. I run it with a 6 hp clear water pump that puts out 150gpm. I run the sluice as close to the water as I can to get the maximum suction. [/url] |

Yup. The dampner was the key..works like a dream. We had a six color loss..and was it after running most of the time. |
