Hello,
New member coming from the laurens county area. I'm new to the whole gold fever and am greatful to learn so much knowledge in one place . i started a Fort in the ground for my boys and as we were digging in the red clay i hit several quartz veins.Nothing odd there but when i started hitting black clay/sand'ish material around the veins i remembered that could be a great indicator of possible mineral deposit too. Decided i'd find a forum and came across you guys . Thank you very much for accepting me and sharing such a wealth of knowledge . Keep the color coming ..... |

Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of great information on here. Take your time, look around and you will most likely find the answer to any question you can think of. You live in a great area . I have never prospected in Laurens County, but I have prospected in several counties nearby. There is definitely gold close by. Good luck! |
