Thanx Kevin. Thats the path that I was on. The guys in Michigan all use the wagons too. I noticed that Harbor freight didn't carry that one anymore. Seemed to happen at the same time my AARP newspaper started putting in a 20% Harbor Freight discount coupon. Shocked

Not meaning to hijack the thread but while we're talking trailers I'm going to get something specifically for hauling the dredge behind the ATV. I'm thinking of the bigger 4 wheeled wagons from TSC. Isn't that what you have Kev? My real question is which do you think is better - a two wheel or a four wheel cart. I can think of advantages to both.

Just curious, what is TSC? I like the wagon idea, I have a HF 4x8 that is great but still a little much for getting close to the water. I can let it down to the water and winch it back up. It would be nice to find something lighter and smaller that would work on my Keene 4505PH dredge.

Hey Pete you can never have a trailer big enough. LOL. My trailer is a 5x8 with the standard sides and 2x6 treated floor. I have also made a cart (idea from Kev) to fit under my 5" Keene so that I can move it around when it is off the trailer. I pull my cart with dredge on it with my 4 wheeler to get it to the water if I can not back up to the water with my truck. I also pull my trailer when it is completely loaded with my 4 wheeler and that is when I am in 2 wheel drive. I always pull in 2 wheel drive incase I get into a situation then I switch to 4 wheel to get out. I hate going in to a hole in 4 wheel and getting stuck and have to winch it out. I will look for a pick of my set up and try to post it for yall to see. OK I found a pic. Just so you know I do not think you will have any problems pulling your trailer with a Honda. I see guys down here pulling thier motorcyles to bike week using small cars.

Very true. What I meant was..... It is like having a garage for your toys. Whatever size you choose will never be big enough. For now it may be just perfect for your setup but at some point you will say I wish I had a bigger trailer. Trust me on this.

I started my prospecting with everything shoved into the back of my 1991 mustang hatchback. Then I had to have the seats folded down when we started adding camping equipment. Then we bought a dodge truck and made life really good for hauling stuff. I got bit harder than most. Now I had to have a 4 wheeler to help me get around on the properties that I use and to help haul my junk. Life was good. Before long I realized I needed a small trailer so I bought a used 4x8 fold up model and modified it to suit my needs, I am also a welder. Very light trailer and worked great, very easy to move around by hand with my gear on it. Then I bought my 5" Keene, and time to get a bigger trailer. Now I am looking for an enclosed trailer so thjat I can also camp in it during the winter months so I wont freeze at night. Aahhh the process of evolution.

Well this aint my first rodeo and ive had trailers, toy haulers, an rv, etc. I do understand that point just gotta work with what I got since the economy has dealt me shit cards I gotta play em ya know. Smile I used to haul an enclosed trailer with my motorcycle and gear to the track and camp in it with a heater and a/c unit mounted in the nose of the V. Now THAT is the way to go if you have electricity. Good sound proof and nice and warm or cold depending on the situation. I doubt I would wanna sleep in one in the summer without electricity unless I could work something out there. but for now If I wanna get a dredge on my budget I gotta xave up for a 4 inch, and get a small trailer to haul it with. Just doing what I gotta do so I can go dredgin thats pretty much it at this point. I can weld and have access to a welder, Im a mechanic by trade so I can fix pretty much anything with pretty much being a loose term there. lol
