They are the best cleanup devices money can buy. They are expensive but worth it if you have lots of cons to run. I'm going to order one for me personally and one for the showroom. I also plan on putting this same matting in my dredge because I saw what a difference it made in my buddies dredge.

Thanks Shay, Guess I'am getting Gold fever again. Had to sale all three of my dredges due to bad times, Starting over again, guess I will be calling you for more items as I can get them. Did keep the 2 1//2" combo to keep me going. Thanks.

I don't have a Keene Super, but I've used one. The first time I saw it I thought the guy was running it way too fast. He told me to grab my cons and have at it. I was very surprised indeed. The rubber mat is the key component.

Keene should sell the sluice as a stand alone without the bucket system. This guy had changed the water tubs to 25 gallon cattle feeding tubs.

Of course I had to be different. I'm photo challenged, but what I have is a 6 inch wide by 72 inch long sluice. The upper 6 inches is a slick plate. Then I have as long a section of the Keene rubber as was available - I think its 39 inches. It pinches itself under a lip to hold it in place. The lip helps with the slick plate classification. The remaining length of the sluice is glued in ribbed rubber matting - NOT the deep stuff.

As far as efficiency I have a huge experiment in progress. I 20 mesh screened 7 buckets of cons from various locations and ran them through my sluice. I cleaned up four or five times each bucket. I ran them only once and the overs have been distributed to several folks...free of course. All I asked is to see what they found and how did they get it. I suspect its 98% efficient.

Shay - I wouldn't mind having some of that matting if you decide to stock it. Incredibly expensive, but it sure does work
