I have been using a 2.5" chameleon and with the cost of the dredge, pump, pressure hose, suction hose. foot valve, small trailer to haul it thru the woods to the creek as the hole thing weighs 185 lbs I only broke my budget of $1000.00 by 32 bucks, theres a lot more to it than what you see on the web. and you will cuss it every step of the way in and every half step on the way out, But Damn It's Fun Sucking Up Gold With Hose!!!
