I found an arrowhead the other day in Gray Court(Laurens County)SC.Haven't taken a pic yet of it,but it looks like it's made of slate.I didn't think that was in the norm around here,or,that I heard years ago anyways.Is this true or not?Thanks and WAKE UP rockheads!It looks like this one has been a asleep for a while..lol |

Post us a picture when you get one.
I have found a couple of points / tools made of siltstone / shale type material. I don't think they would have been very durable since the material is too soft and flaky. Maybe someone with more expertise can offer some more insight.
