Another day, another couple hours spent sluicing.
Heading to the creek.
Old sluice spot I worked awhile back. Found a little color there but not much. Smaller then 100 mesh meant I kept moving upstream.
Got to the new spot and started running the sluice.
Not the richest spot I have worked, but at least it had something there.
Shot of the cleanup coming soon as I finish feeding the huskies. |

Here's a kind of blurry video of me panning out the cons. I dont know why the camera blurred it so bad but if you skip to the end you can see my take for the day. I only was there about an hour and a half and I ran 3 salad bowls of classified dirt through the sluice.

Looks like a great day. The smooth flow of a AM sluice makes for great pics.
I noticed that your grubsteak is slightly different than my 2009 model. The first and second riffle on mine are the same. It appears that the newer version has a different first riffle. |

Thanks for the replies guys. I think so, if you compare it with the cleanup pic, it has the same general shape as the top piece (even though its blurry). I cleaned up the sluice three times though and only took pics once, so not positive though. I worked 3 different spots while making a grid, looking for the pay streak. |
