Got my new Angus Mackirk forman sluice yesterday and going to use it today. Do I need to do anything to it before I go ? Like wash it with disk detergent. |

No you dont need to do anything to any AM sluices. If you notice a slight white residue that is normal from the molding but it does not need to be seasoned like a gold pan. |

Oh..an AM sluice wont have a problem catching fine fine gold(dust), as long as its running properly(no big turbulance, no surges) |
