I recently found this series on the science channel, and its great. It goes into detail about geology in certain places like how the rockies were formed, and the Canadian shield. The one I am watching this morning is mostly about the Canadian shield but it also covers prospecting for gold and ore deposits. I recommend this series to anyone if you are interested in rocks/minerals as it is very interesting.
