Hi Deerman:
I'm looking real hard at his Stream Banker. I think that it would work real well where motorized equipment is forbidden. And if they call for hand carried only, it would work there also. I'm thinking about CA and places like that as well as having a sluice that I don't have to bend down or work on my knees. I have a bad back!

I just got his Predator II as a cons mini sluice and am in the process of making it now. I'll post pictures of what I did when it's finished and have a chance to try it out. Want to use it instead of a blue bowl and have it so I can take it with me if I want too.
Good luck to you!

i bought a grub stake sluice from angus mackirk. i intended to use it in the creek i prospect in when the water is down. but, this summer the water is up and flowing pretty good. it works good but i've only used it once. it caught some fine gold but i may have lost some. it looked like it didn't hold all the heavies and scoured some of the material out. i've got a schmidt black magic sluice that i like to use when the water is faster...sam |
