anyone ever seen the angus series of high bankers in action? Like even a video of them? |

Here's one from 2009, it shows more of these guys outing than about the highbanker but you can see one in action and the final cleanup, he did admit that there wasn't much gold in the spot they worked in his comments about the video, so you can't judge the performance by the final take.
Other than the spraybar setup (actually there's no spraybars, just a couple of pipes shooting water up the slickplate) it looks like it works pretty well IMHO, a true spraybar setup would improve it a lot.

The one time I saw one I didnt care much for the design. I think you could build one with an angus sluice alot better than the one I saw. Looked light weight and I liked the sluice but overall I didnt think it was a final product. Lots of improvements could be seen as needed. |
