I am going to field test one of these in a week. Should I take some pictures? |

i would have really liked to see the FULL setup on the creek bank, they skipped way too much of the setup for me, because i think unless you have a nice picnic table to set it up on its going to be a real bear to get it together right, on a good note i like that riffle design,,, shay can you get that mat to fit other sluices ? |

Let us know how it works, to me it looks a little weak laterally, when he picked it up it twisted an awful lot. It also looked like quite a bit of larger material was still in the sluice, jus my 2 cents. I would rather have the opinion from someone locally and let us know your honest view as to how well it works, thanks and happy hunting. |

First thing, the carry bag had a hole in it. The sluice seems delicate. It would be better with a sturdy box. That said, it performed excellent. It cleared so fast, you could actually bank run. It worked excellent with classified material. I think they are on to something with the riffle design. The gold hides. I thought it was washing out. I could see gold on the flare bit not in the riffles. I ended up with a good day. I was impressed. I will end up getting a angus sluice, but only for low water flow conditions. I couldn't have asked for a sluice to perform better. If it breaks, I will buy a A52 and convert the riffles to fit. |

Ill let you borrow an au trap one day and see how well you like it compared to that A52. |

Have to agree with you on that Pete.. I have an AU trap as well and I have not seen any other sluice that can take so much material and grab every little grain out of it. Absolutely the best money I spent on a sluice thus far.. Wish someone could figure out how to attach it to a dredge... I have my dredge just about ready to go and trying to decide on whether to buy a new sluice box for it, go with what I have or put this AU trap on there... Would make a great dredge sluice if I knew it could handle the surges and such.. |

Assembly on the creek takes a little time but not bad. It was harder to disassemble. It had fine material in the long pins and the sides had to be bumped with a trowel handle. |
