Since the Angus is made of plastis and is molded, does it need to be roughed up like our pans before first use? |

Definitely not! You dont want to scratch it at all. I am pretty sure they are ready to go as is. |

Do nothing to your angus sluices. You may notice a white residue film..this is nothing to be concerned about as its from the molding but they need no kind "breaking in" like a pan or anything. Totally ready to go out of the box. |

I agree. I just wash mine in soap water using Dawn to remove the mold release.
A great product and super easy to clean up.
