It's the Matthews GPAA Chapter's "Gold Festival" that Brian A.K.A. "Charlotte 49er" has been posting about and selling tickets for the drawing/raffle, it is this weekend, Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th.
I don't recall Shay ever saying that he was going or not, and he maybe going prospecting/dredging if he is not going to the Gold Festival.

The Predator III was born when I sold a couple of Mini Long Tom's to Kev-NC and he went and ran a few buckets of concentrates and called me and said this sluice is awesome and catches all the gold and is fast. After that I started thinking about a recirculating system and a hopper so I called Angus and had him make me a few which were expensive at first for me to buy and sale but they worked so dang good I started ordering several at a time. Long story short the Predator III is one of Angus's best sellers now and the price has come down and it is the best unit on the market for the money. |

The only other thing you need is a 12 and 30 mesh screen and your good to go! |
I would have to disagree on that all you need is a 12 and 30 mesh. No matter what kind of finishing device you use proper classification is key> Call AM or Rob Goreham they will tell you the same thing. When classifying your cons for fine gold go 30 50 100 Here is a good vid of Rob showing you how to How to Process Gold Concentrate http://prospectingchannel.com/process-gold-concentrate.html |

He is talking about just getting started with those two pieces of equipment. If I want to add advanced mining techniques and recovery we would need another page of items needed. The best thing for new prospectors is to keep it simple and save your black sands for when you become more experienced and then you can go back and recover the tiny micro gold that you might be missing. |

I some what agree with you but I wouldn’t call proper classification advance mining more like mining 101. I guess it all comes down to how far you want to take your clean up just my 2 cents |
