Thanks Cool I have a 100-150 gph and I thought it would be too small. Off to the store I go. I'll probably just get a 600 gph just to prepare for additional equipment and put a deverter valve on it, if needed.

I have the Predator 2 and I use a 500gph pump. I'm pretty sure it's the same size sluice as the sidekick with a couple extra goodies.

I wrote to Angus MacKirk without a reply yet. I wish they would put-list all the lengths and widths along with what the GPH pump requirements are for each appropriate unit on their website, as this information is really lacking there.

***=>Could anyone tell me what the lengths and widths (inside measurement of the actual riffle width) of the Side Kick($39), Field n' Stream($35), and/or Predator II($89) & III($149) are please.??? http://www.angusmackirk.com/product_pages/miscellaneous.html

Also measurements for the Gator II or III($199) if anyone has one. http://www.angusmackirk.com/product_pages/concentrators.html

Prices. http://www.angusmackirk.com/product_pages/ProductPricing040212.pdf

500 GPH(an Attwood for about $20 at WalMart) is a good common bilge pump size, it also has low battery drain at 1.5 Amps. Also you maybe able to get a 400 GPH @ 1 Amp. If a person uses a solid firm hose with a smooth inside then this is better and more effecient than a layflat and/or rough inside corrugated hose. For a 500 GPH bilge pump at 3/4" you could look for a firm smooth inside 3/4" ID 'garden hose', but be careful because a lot of garden hoses are 5/8". For bigger GPH bilge pumps at 1 1/8" then use a 1" ID firm smooth inside hose instead of the usual rough inside corrugated hose for better performance. Also hose length and elevation effects(reduces) the GPH.

Bucket sluice concentrator($29.95), size is 24" x 5" x 3". This unit will operate fine using bilge pumps of 200 - 750 GPH. http://www.casluicebox.com/CONCENTRATOR.html

A couple more to look at that use 400 and 500 GPH bilge pumps: http://www.micro-sluice.com/MSGP_2-20-12/MSJ.html and http://www.micro-sluice.com/MSGP_2-20-12/MS1.html
They both are 5 1/2" wide and 16" long.
