That 76 degree weather looks a lot better than what we are having here now!
I'm really looking forward to this outing.
I am going to bring my 4 wheeler and gator so we will have a way to haul people and equipment around.
I think Jim is bringing his high banker and I am bringing mine.If anyone else is bringing equipment let me know so I can get an idea of how may of the big high bankers I need to reserve. Thanks Wes |

I picked up 2 large 7 pound cans of Bushs baked beans this morning. I was thinking of picking up some potato salad Friday, I guess I won't. Should we make a list of what people are bringing ? |

I went back and looked at your old posts and you haven't jumped on anybody since April 2012 so you should be safe! Wes |

The weather forecast shows a chance of scattered showers but we are not going to let this interfere with our plans.
We are going to be wet and muddy anyway and the rain,if any, will be a welcome relief from the heat.
No body ever said getting gold was easy,if it was every body would be doing it. Wes |

For those attending the Mountain Creek dig, look for any manganese streaks (black) or pure purple streaks that you may run across. They are full of gold, tiny for sure, but loaded. Don't run it through the highbanker, grab a handful, classify down to 70 mesh or so and pan it out.
For you specimen hunters, look for any rock that has a brown and green presence. The cassiterite veins are all auriferous. They run all along the Crowell properties.
Naturally, nasty looking quartz rocks should be examined carefully.
Bill has lots of gold, but like Cotton Patch, it's small, so slow water will capture more in a highbanker than having lots of water pressure.

Hey Wes.. Count me in for the plates, cups and silverware... Anything else you can think of, just let me know.
Sam - Thank you very much for that bit of advice... I have been to mountain creek before and ran across one or 2 black streaks.. Wish I would have done what you suggested and pulled it out to be panned.. will do that for sure this time.. |

Wes,
Would you like for me to bring my Pred III and or Sidekick to help with clean-ups? I also have a generator and a small folding table, if you think that will help. |
